2012 Theme: The '60's

The 2012 show will again be at the spectacular Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum in McMinnville Oregon. For this year, well will have the show in the Space Museum. We are very excited at the change.

The theme for this year's show celebrates the '60's and being in the Space museum will highlight the theme with the space exhibits and the jets, many dating from the '60's. We will have several Special Awards to commemorate the theme.

The museum showcases more than 60 military and civilian aircraft including a SR-71 Blackbird, and Titan II Missile.

Model registration begins at 9 am and closes at 12 noon. The models will be displayed and judged until 4 pm at the close of the show.

Model contest entry costs are:

• Adult: $5 for 1-5 models & $1 ea. additional model
• Juniors 11-17: $1 per model entry
• Juniors 10 and Under: Free
• Display Entry: Free

Again this year we had a free MakeNTake event for younger modelers. In 2011 we had nearly 60 youth build a variety of models during the MakeNTake from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.

Every person who enters models in the contest will receive one complimentary raffle ticket. For more chances, tickets will be on sale for $1 each, 6 tickets for $5, 13 tickets for $10, or 30 tickets for $20. Raffle drawings will begin at 11:00 am and continue hourly with a Grand Prize drawing at 3:45 pm.
